  • Supervised learning – Training data is labeled with the desired output. Supervised machine learning requires large amounts of labeled data to accurately train neural networks to solve a particular problem.
  • Semi-supervised – Structure in data is leveraged to create automated pseudo-tags
  • Unsupervised learning – Learning from untagged-data (ie: machine does 90% of the work) This method enables the team to use much less “known or tagged” data to train the neural network. The amounts vary with the complexity of the problem.
